Registration Instructions
1. On the day of registration please fill out the google form application on the Curtis Aquatic Center Website for the correct session.
a. If an alternate application option is needed, please contact the Curtis Aquatic Center for additional help. Alternate application options are to come in person to provide the information, email mtallon@upsd83.org, or call the pool at 253-566-5725.
2. Applications will be accepted Monday-Wednesday the week of registration. At 6:00pm on Wednesday night, applications will close!
3. On Thursday after registration has closed, all registration applications will be compiled into one list and swimmers will be randomly selected for classes in a lottery system using preferred class times.
4. Our goal is to fit as many swimmers into classes as possible!
5. If you are selected from the lottery system, you will receive an email from the Curtis Aquatic Center with the following information:
a. Your child’s assigned class time
b. A link to pay for lessons online if you choose
c. Information about paying in-person if you choose
6. Once you have received your confirmation email, you have 48 hours to email back and “ACCEPT” or “REJECT” your swim lesson spot.
a. You then have until Monday evening before your swim lesson session to pay for your class either online or in-person.
i. Classes that have not been paid for the Monday night following registration will lose their spot and spots will be given to the next in line.
*Please Note*
§ All parents/guardians must still fill out a medical/liability waiver BEFORE your child can begin. This will be sent to you electronically the day after open registration and must be filled out by 3pm the day before class starts.
§ Classes are no longer offered on a first come/first served basis. All class spots will be selected through the online lottery system.
