The Jorge Alberto Ramos Comas Legislative Internship Program was created under Law 184-1996 and is designed to offer university students an educational experience that combines the theoretical and practical elements of legislative processes and their integration with the other branches of government. It promotes greater awareness among participants of the importance of the legislative process in achieving the common good. In turn, it fosters the development of expertise and future interest in maintaining a connection with the Legislative Branch. The program is presided over by Hon. Rafael “Rafy” Santos Ortiz.
1. Disney College Program (DCP)
This program gives college students and recent graduates a paid work-experience opportunity at Disney theme parks and resorts (e.g., Walt Disney World Resort in Florida). Participants “live, learn & earn” — they work in guest-facing roles (food & beverage, retail, attractions, lodging, etc.), take part in career-development sessions, and often receive perks like theme-park admission and housing options.Â

2. Disney Professional Internship Program
This is a career-oriented internship program for students (or recent grads) looking to work in specific fields (e.g., business, technology, production, engineering) within Disney’s many divisions. Interns gain hands-on experience, professional development, and networking opportunities in their chosen domain.Â
NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) paid internships allow college-level students to contribute to the agency’s mission to advance science, technology, aeronautics, and space exploration.Â
OSTEM internships offer students an opportunity to gain practical work experience while working side-by-side with mentors who are research scientists, engineers, and individuals from many other professions. Internships may be full time or part time on a NASA center or facility.
