Scholly is excited to launch our Women of Color In Tech $10,000 Scholarship, sponsored by Google!
Women are the tech leaders of the future, but they face many challenges. Today, fewer women are graduating with tech degrees: according to Pew Research Center, only 19% of computer science bachelor’s degrees in the United States are being granted to women. The Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates that women will hold just 20% of computing jobs by 2025, a gap that has gotten worse in the last 30 years.
This scholarship invites high school seniors and undergraduate women who are Black, Latina, and/or Native and are currently pursuing or have completed a computing related degree to apply!
Twenty (20) winners will receive $10,000 each. Please note, there is a second round to this scholarship. We will notify you if you are eligible to advance to the second round.
