The Army Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Serving Institutions (HBCU-MI) Student Program for Army Research and Knowledge (SPARK) program allows U.S. graduate and undergraduate students in STEM fields to conduct research at an Army facility. Under the guidance of government scientists and engineers, students will engage in Army mission-related research projects, including data analysis and systems modeling, during the summer of 2025.

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergrad internship or co-op assignment must meet the following criteria:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.00 GPA.
Pursuing or have completed at least 3 years of study in Biomedical, Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Software, Computer Engineering, or Life Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry).
Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s program following the internship or co-op assignment.

INSuRE summer 2024 WORKSHOPS
In an attempt to provide research education and experience to cybersecurity students from CAE institutions, we are offering two separate intense INSuRE+E research workshops in Summer 2024. Modeled after the INSuRE+E program, teams of students will be working on an applied research problem of national interest mentored by a problem mentor from a government agency. Supervision is provided by a faculty member from a CAE-R institution.
Eligibility Requirement: Students who are US citizens or permanent residents who are entering the 3rd year or above of their undergraduate studies or early MS/PhD students may apply to one or both sessions listed below.

The program seeks to excite African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American (AHN) and female students about computing graduate studies and provide them with the research experiences critical for graduate studies. CAHSI institutions are working together to raise the low number and share of AHN and female students who enter and complete graduate programs in computing fields, which are among the least diverse science disciplines. Cooperative Education Program (will open on February 1st 2023 )
Our Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program offers high-caliber college students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in computer science, as well as computer and electrical engineering and cybersecurity or language focused majors including Chinese, and Russian.
Students work on a rotational schedule (one semester at school, one semester at NSA) until graduation.
During your work tour, students will work a regular 40-hour week. Each work tour is designed to reveal the specific areas students may want to focus on as a career.
The program requires students to work a minimum of 52 weeks (one year) prior to graduation.
Application period is open from February 1st to March 31st and from September 1st to October 31st.

Internships at NSA provide exciting work and compensation commensurate with academic level.
Students working toward an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree in a field critical to NSA’s mission, we can help them gain real-world experience.

The NSA Office of Student Programs is hosting a series of virtual information sessions for students to hear directly from NSA employees on the great opportunities the Agency has to offer! This session is for any level students and will be focusing on college student programs such as Summer Internships and Cooperative Education Program (Co-op) opportunities! All majors are welcome, but this session will specifically focus on Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Chinese, Russian, Korean, and Farsi languages.

The application period for the Cooperative Education Program will open soon, from February 1st to March 31st 2022.
Cooperative Education Program
The Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program offers high-caliber college students the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in computer science, as well as computer and electrical engineering and cybersecurity or language focused majors including Chinese, Korean, Russian and Farsi.
Students work on a rotational schedule (one semester at school, one semester at NSA) until graduation.
During the work tour, students will work a regular 40-hour week. Each work tour is designed to reveal the specific areas students may want to focus on as a career.
The program requires students to work a minimum of 52 weeks (one year) prior to graduation.
Application period is open from February 1st to March 31st and from September 1st to October 31st. 2022
Summer Internships
Internships at NSA provide exciting work and compensation commensurate with academic level.
Students working toward an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree in a field critical to NSA’s mission, we can help them gain real-world experience.
Opportunities exist in many of our most challenging job categories for college students willing to dedicate their time to national security.
The application period for most internships starts in September. 1st 2022, and it will end on Oct. 31st, 2022.
