What is College Credit Plus?

College Credit Plus (CCP) is Ohio's dual credit program.  If students qualify, they can earn high school and college credit at the same time!

Steps to be eligible for College Credit Plus for 26-27 school year:

Attend a CCP Parent meeting in February.

CCP Parent Meeting at UVCC: 

February 4, 2026 at 6:00 pm

Each associate school hosts a CCP parent meeting as well.  

• Students have the option of attending the CCP parent meeting at their associate school in which case they would not need to attend the one offered at UVCC.

Complete a Letter of Intent Form by April 1st.  

 The form is below or you can receive a form from your home school counselor or UVCC counselor.

Apply to Edison (or other college)  

You are not locked into going to Edison by applying. 

You will need your social security number for the application.

*Be sure to complete a CCP application, and not a New student application

Schedule to take the Accuplacer college entrance exam, if necessary.  

Edison will review your transcript to determine eligibility.  You may be required to take the Accuplacer exam.  Click HERE to register

Schedule your Edison Classes

If you are college-ready, meet with your UVCC counselor, or an Edison CCP representative to schedule your upcoming semester courses. For Fall semester, scheduling begins in late March.
