There are three types of questions, these assess the different outcomes from the standard.
You will be required to get a certain number of each type of question correct normally at least five.
In multi-choice questions, you should should calculate the answer, doing your working on paper will help.
Then select the correct answer.
HINTS:
If you don't know the correct answer, make your best, educated guess - something is better than nothing !
DO NOT tick all the boxes.... unless you are 100% confident of the answer.
There maybe several correct answers and ticking more than one is okay
In short answer questions you will be required to find a numerical (number based) answer.
Doing your working on paper will help.
These questions normally have the units already on the answer box.
Long answer questions require at least two parts to the answer
1) Your position - agree or disagree with the statement you have been given
2) Your numerical evidence - why do your agree or disagree, you will need to give your evidence as calculations from the information given, or numbers you have read off a graph.
To get these questions correct, you will need to give your position and your numerical evidence, it is a bit like the paragraph writing style of PEEL.
