Semesters and Marking Periods

Similar to college, UDHS runs on a semester schedule.  Students will generally have 4  classes each semester and each course is typically worth 1 credit.  Students have at least 8 credit earning opportunities each school year.  

Pro Tip: Reports cards are issued at the end of each marking period.  Final grades (not marking period grades) appear on the student transcript.  Please note that  students must earn a passing grade (60 or higher) in order to earn credit for each course.
