Welcome to the Continuing Education Program of the Faculty of Education!

This program is designed especially for individuals who are eager to retool, upscale, and adapt to the evolving educational landscape. These non-formal short courses are here to support your growth as a teacher-professional, education practitioner and/or community-based worker.

FED-CEP courses go beyond knowledge-building. Our courses are spaces for confidence-building, community engagement, and practical learning. By recognizing both formal and informal ways of knowing, our courses are meant to harness your skill sets and tap into your prior experiences in order to contribute meaningfully to your own communities of practice. At best, our courses are meant to benefit children, youth and adults in your circles of influence.

In the long term, the learning opportunities in our FED-CEP aim to support global goals, in particular Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education by contributing to the pool of qualified educators, particularly in developing regions. 

We, at the Faculty of Education, are also proud to support the broader mission of inclusive and equitable access to quality education—opening new pathways to university-based teacher education for all.
