In IGCSE Drama 60% of the final grade is based on ‘coursework’. This consists of three performance tasks - a monologue, a group devised piece and a group scripted piece.

This year with the amount of time that students have spent online it was not possible to complete both group tasks. So presented here is a selection of monologues and devised pieces from the IGCSE Drama Class of 2021.

The monologues are all drawn from published plays and were all chosen by the students themselves. The devised pieces are created from scratch by the students, based on one of three stimuli provided by their teachers.

This class has shown great perseverance, adaptability and creativity to ensure that this work was completed and we wish them all the very best in their IGCSE exams.
