To travel through Europe for a month during the summer.

I was a varsity softball player all through high school.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
My Dad always has told me to, "Enjoy the Journey"
What’s your favorite color, and why?
Purple - I've always loved it. No particular reason. It makes me happy.
What’s your favorite movie, and why?
A League of Their Own. I played softball growing up and I just always loved that movie. My 2nd favorite is The Sandlot. Both softball/baseball related :)
What do you enjoy most about being a school counselor?
I love watching students learn and grow and getting to be a small part of their journey. I also love that everyday is different.
Which college did you attend?
I went to Cal Poly Pomona for my undergrad and Loyola Marymount University for my Master's program.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
My family. Especially my daughter. She has changed me in so many ways.
What words do you live by?
“The struggle you're in today, is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.”
How do you practice self-care?
My self-care includes spending quality time with my kid, binge watching Netflix, interval training fitness class, and dancing.
What’s on your bucket list?
I would like to participate in a Mud Run and or a Spartan Race.
What’s something people would be surprised to learn about you?
I was a cheerleader in high school.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
Advice given to me by my brother: The only way out is through.
What’s your favorite color, and why?
My favorite color to wear is black because I think it’s elegant. My favorite colors to look at are rose gold and robin’s-egg blue because I find them to be calming and pretty.
What’s your favorite movie, and why?
Watching movies is one of my favorite pastimes, so it is hard to pick a favorite. However, the Martian comes to mind because it is a prime example of focusing on the solution of a situation rather than being defeated by obstacles that one can not control.
What do you enjoy most about being a school counselor?
The best part about being a school counselor is building relationships with students and being part of their personal and educational growth journey.
Which college did you attend?
I went to the University of La Verne for my undergraduate, my graduate and my credential.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
I am most grateful for my son because of the overwhelming joy he brings to my life. He is my motivation and inspiration to reach great heights.
