The mission of the Upland Junior High School Counseling program is to ensure all students have equitable access to a comprehensive and data-driven program. We are committed to fostering the academic, social-emotional, and postsecondary development of each student. By utilizing data-driven practices and a tiered approach, we identify and address needs, empowering students to thrive academically, develop critical life skills, and cultivate a strong sense of self. Through collaboration with stakeholders, our curriculum, small group and individual counseling we strive to create an inclusive environment that promotes personal success, resilience, and lifelong learning for every student.
