1. Teaching methods of the teacher observed by students

UNP Laboratory School, the learning approach used is student-centered. That's why, the teachers that I observed provided many activities for students so that students can become active learners. The activities provided were vary, depending on the topic and class. Because in each class, students' initial knowledge and ability to learn are not the same. Therefore, teachers must always be sensitive and responsive in making adjustments in the classroom. In addition, teachers also use various strategies such as lectures with a mix of questions and answers, class discussion, group discussion, presentation, and even some gamification in learning as I have said before. At the beginning, the teacher will provide triggering questions or activities to review students' understanding of the previous material while preparing students to learn the new material. Once the students' focus is established, the activities will be given gradually. Even in providing explanations related to the topics discussed, teachers always provide opportunities for students to be directly involved in the construction of their learning. This can be seen from the way the teacher provides several questions and poses them to the class. Sometimes, a direct appointment is also needed to spark the enthusiasm of other students to dare to answer in front of the class.

2. Their learning materials and innovation

Teachers use books as the main reference for making instructions and materials. To enrich the learning content, several different books are combined and complement each other. However, for teacher, there is a separate guidebook that can help teachers to compile learning materials easier. For the innovations used, teacher make game-based quizzes as part of the learning motivation process.

3. Sources of learning and technology used by the teachers

The source of learning for both teacher and students is the textbook. I observed that the use of power point presentations plays an important part of the learning process. As the medium for presentation, projector are two main tools provided by the school. Here are the several captures of the material from the textbook.

4. Authentic assesment used by the teachers

The assessment I saw was in 4th grade is seen from their activeness and involvement in learning. Next, it is seen from the fulfillment of assignments and exams held by the school.
