Student Design Clinic Year 3

Senior Clinic - Year 3

Senior Clinic projects are completed by third and fourth year students. Projects typically include design and optimization of systems in a wide variety of applications but must be related to renewable energy; bioresources; sensors, optics, and imaging; robotics and industrial automation; or, advanced manufacturing and often involve building and testing a physical prototype.

Project: Design and Construction of a Towing Platform and Carriage for a Tow Tank

Partner: Aspin Kemp & Associates (AKA)

Design, build, and test a towing platform and rail system that will integrate with projects from 2nd and 4th year teams to test a scale model of a ship in a tow tank.

Student Team: Graham Ching, Tyler Green, Evan Hardwick, Nicholas McRae, Bradley Norman, Philip Tweel.

Breakout Room: Year 3 - Team 1

Project: Review of Mechanical Systems

Partner: Bell Aliant Centre
