INTER-PREPAS 2022
DESCRIBING WHAT HAPPEND?
Sports competitions were held between various high schools and the sports teams of San Martin went to the semifinals, so the whole school went to support our teams
EXPRESSING FEELINGS
At that moment I was proud that our teams had gone to the semifinals, and I also felt happy because since these events are held at the university, excuse the redundancy, I was going to go to the university and that for some reason makes me happy or excited
GENERATING IDEAS
Some ideas that came up were:
- Take advantage of the fact that I was at the university and take a tour of this
- Taking advantage of the fact that I was there, give me a tour of what is around the university
- Living with my friends taking advantage of the fact that we were there
ASKING QUESTIONS
Some questions that I have are:
Will our teams win first place?
What are the university facilities like?
Would I have been missing something to explore within the university?
ALTUM 50 Camp
DESCRIBING WHAT HAPPEND?
On December 1 and 2, the ALTUM academy camp was held to close this academy. In said camp, various activities were carried out and we lived with people from other UPAEP high schools, but what I consider most important is that within the activities there were lessons on the transformative leadership that is what characterizes UPAEP, there was also a conference on that topic.
EXPRESSING FEELINGS
At first I felt a little nervous about what was going to happen but as we went on doing the activities and meeting other young people, those nerves began to fade and in the end I felt super happy, well I also felt tired from the physical activities we did
GENERATING IDEAS
Some ideas I remember having at that time were:
- Meet other young people from other high schools
- Have a respectful and friendly treatment with others for a good coexistence
- Complete most of the activities that will be carried out
- Assimilate that physical activities required a lot of physical condition, which I don't have
ASKING QUESTIONS
Some questions I remember asking at the time were:
- What kind of activities are we going to do?
- Who am I going to live with?
- Will the young people from the other high schools be cool?

UPAEP Missions
From April 1 to 9, a group of students and a support teacher went to a community where we carried out activities to help the community. Some of the activities that were carried out within the community were giving classes to children about religion, visiting homes, masses and rosaries in the afternoon, donations of groceries and other items such as clothing, stationery and toys. Days before the missions started I felt a little nervous since it was something new for me and also because I was going to face a different lifestyle than the one I have. But despite the difficulties we had, we managed to carry out our activities, this made me feel happy and satisfied.
UPAEP 360°
On October 21, 2023, the UPAEP 360° event was held. In this event we had the opportunity to learn about what the university offers us. There were also stands with the different careers offered by the university, workshops were also held where, through practical exercises, students get an idea of what the career is about. This was a vocational experience that was very significant for me since it allowed me to learn more about the careers I had in mind, but the most important thing was that based on this event I was able to make a decision about what career to choose.
Call to action ALTUM - Visit to the asylum
The students who are in the ALTUM leadership academy went to help the San Judas Tadeo asylum. Inside the asylum, the students tried to carry out activities such as painting, karaoke, board games, talks, and dancing. I must say that this activity made me think too many things. For example, before visiting the asylum we had already planned everything that was going to be done and we already felt ready but when we arrived at the asylum it was not what we expected due to several reasons, one because the people who live in the asylum are not as such. older adults, but also people with different disabilities. There was also competition. But despite that we carried out our activities, but not as we would have liked. In the end I felt happy because at least it could make some of the people who live there smile.
