6th Undergraduate Research Symposium

General Information

The 6th Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS2019) is organized by the University of the Philippines Visayas Tacloban College. The symposium aims to provide a venue for undergraduate students of both public and private colleges and universities from all over Eastern Visayas to showcase their research projects and accomplishments. This year's theme is “Promoting and Mentoring Research towards Sustainable development” cognizant of the important role that research plays in the development of any community.

The symposium accepts abstract submissions which will be reviewed for either oral or poster presentation on the basis of technical merit and content. Research topics may fall under one of the four main clusters: (1) life sciences, (2) management and accounting, (3) physical sciences and engineering, and (4) social sciences, humanities, and education. There is no limit to the number of submissions provided that they were completed within the current academic year (AY 2018-2019).
