The main objective of URS2019 is to provide a venue for undergraduate students from public, and private academic institutions from all over Eastern Visayas to present their completed undergraduate research projects and accomplishments. This year's URS will have two categories, namely: oral, and poster presentation. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of their undergraduate research completed within the academic year 2018-2019 via EasyChair (https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=urs2019). All submissions to the symposium will be reviewed by at least two independent peers from the respective topic clusters for technical merit and content.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts that schools can submit provided that the researches have been completed within the current academic year (AY 2017-2018). Submitted abstracts will be evaluated by member of the Screening Committee and shall be shortlisted to a maximum of ten papers per cluster for oral presentation. Papers that are not selected for oral presentation will be automatically legible for screening in the poster category which shall allow a maximum of 10 papers per cluster. Special awards shall be given to outstanding papers and presentations.
