2021 TRAINING WORKSHOP ON LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT

We are pleased to invite you to the “2021 Training Workshop on Life Cycle Assessment using SimaPro” on August 2-6, 2021 (Monday to Friday), 1 PM to 5 PM via Zoom.

This 5-day training workshop will provide basic knowledge and skills on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) – a tool for quantifying the environmental performance of products or services by taking into account the complete life cycle, starting from production of raw materials to the final disposal of the products, including material recycling if applicable. LCA can be applied to product development and improvement, strategic planning, public policy making, marketing, hotspot analysis, comparison between products, basis for standardized metrics and identification of key performance indicators, among others. For the University, LCA can be integrated in most of the RDE activities and policy analysis studies as efforts towards climate change mitigation and sustainability intensify.
