Many distinguished scholars and public officials, all used to be the Secretary’s students. She was very thankful that the NCPAG had worked hard to make this event successful. That after many years of advocacy, scholarship, and teaching, all her efforts were recognized as those who used to be under her tutelage, now successful in their fields, paid their tribute. In addition, old friends from time immemorial were reunited pleasantly as they reminisced cherished memories. Dr. Proserpina “Chit” Tapales, Ms. Anna Maria “Princess” Nemenzo, former colleagues, were present. Respected individuals such as Dr. Emmanuel Buendia, Dr. Gloria Papa, Atty. Nepomuceno Malaluan, and former senator Teofisto “TG” Guingona III, graced the celebration as well. In essence, it was a fruitful affair where everyone paid tribute to an esteemed scholar-official.
