Project Objectives:

This project investigates how belowground ecological function changes across a forest-agroforestry-agricultural landscape through the following steps:

1. Establishing a baseline of soil nutrients across different land-use types;

2. Characterizing shifts in microbial community structure, composition, and function; 

3. Testing plant-soil feedbacks and nutrient economy frameworks within the Philippine context.
