The Stem Cell In vitro Applications in Research and Modeling (SCIARM) Laboratory, headed by Dr. Ahmad Reza F. Mazahery, is a research laboratory under the Institute of Biology, University of the Philippines Diliman. Our group focuses on basic and preclinical research on various diseases and chronic complications.

RESEARCH INTERESTS:

cancer pathogenesis and treatment
drug discovery and natural products
chronic complications from infectious diseases (HIV, tuberculosis, leptospirosis)
immunotherapy
therapeutic plasmapheresis
adjunct probiotic therapy
