When I heard there was going to be an unessay project for my Anthropology class I think I knew right off the bat I wanted to do something that other anthropology students can use even after I've finished my units. Maybe a big part of me was using the god complex to talk, wanting to leave a mark or something. I admit, my journey with second semester isn't easy, online class is draining, and everyone expects you to be a good student and a good child at the same time. My classes felt like a drag but anthropology classes always left me feeling refreshed and understood, and I guess I wanted somebody else to somehow get a glimpse of that.
I decided to name it project 10,000 because I wanted to highlight Larsen's last chapter where he featured our past 10,000 years.
I want this to open eyes on how interesting and important biological anthropology is. I hope I can inspire other students to fall in love with biological anthropology as well.
