ABOUT THE PROGRAM
What is PGCOHS?
The (Online) Postgraduate Course in Occupational Health and Safety (PGCOHS) is a 56-hour training course that aims to equip participants with the basic competency in planning and implementing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) programs. It utilizes a combination of online lectures and discussions, as well as group and plenary workshops that include situational analysis and workshops on planning actual OHS programs.
Who are eligible to enroll in this course?
The primary target clienteles of the course are OH physicians and OH nurses. Over time and due to regulatory demands, it has been extended to also cater to all practitioners and professionals involved in OHS.
How much is the course fee?
The course fee, subject to change based on currency status, is Php 11,000.00 inclusive of the online materials and a certificate of attendance.

Proof of 2 years minimum work experience in OHS (e.g Recommendation Letter from the current/previous Employer or Certificate of Employment proving that you have worked/is working in the OHS field)
For unemployed professionals, those who have completed a bachelor's degree, or graduates who are not working in the field of OHS at the moment:
You may provide your PRC license or College Diploma
What is the training mode of delivery?
In observance of the minimum public health standards, the PGCOHS which was originally developed as a face-to-face training course is offered online for the year 2023. Online offerings will use Google Classroom as the learning management system while Zoom meetings will be used for the synchronous sessions.
