Three Broadcast Journalism Students successfully conquered Google Initiative University Verification Challenge.

Under the team name Fact Ganern, BA Broadcast Media Arts and Studies students, Patricia Mae Dacanay, John Mark Garcia, and Ann Beatrice Luna, emerged as one of the teams that flawlessly completed the said challenge.

There were only 45 teams out of the 215 teams that joined worldwide that perfected the fact-checking trial.

Dacanay, Garcia, and Luna are all students of Dr. Elizabeth Enriquez in BJ 130 class which discusses issues in Broadcast News and Public Affairs Programs.
