We are pleased to announce that the Asian Society of Labour Law (AsianSLL) will hold its 2026 Conference at the Jeongsu Campus, Korea Polytechnic University, Korea. The conference theme is “Law and Policy for the Future of Work in Asia: Vocational Education, Active Labor Market Policies, and Artificial Intelligence”.

The conference will have the following subtopics:

1. Artificial Intelligence and Algorithmic Management in the Workplace

2. Reconceptualizing “Employee/Worker” in the Platform and Digital Economy

3. Vocational Education and Skills Formation in the Age of Technological Change

4. Active Labor Market Policies and Workforce Transition

5. Migrant Workers and Cross-border Labor Governance in Asia

6. Collective Labor Rights and Social Dialogue in Emerging Work Forms

7. Labor Market Dualization and Inequality in Asia

8. Occupational Safety and Health in Digital and Non-standard Work

9. Data Protection, Surveillance, and Privacy at Work

10. Climate Change, Just Transition, and the Future of Labor Regulation

11. Other issues

We invite labour law professors, practitioners, scholars, students and anyone who is interested in the field of labour law - especially those with a focus on labour law in Asia - to submit abstracts of 500 words with an outline on any subtopic above, in DOCX format.

We will communicate to presenters the acceptance of the abstract.

AsianSLL 2025 Conference

The Asian Society of Labour Law (AsianSLL), with the University of the Philippines Law Center Workers and Employees Program (WEP), invites everyone to attend the AsianSLL 2025 Conference on 22 November 2025, Saturday, online via Microsoft Teams, from 9:30 to 18:00 (UTC +8:00).

With the theme “The World in Transition: Challenges and Prospects on Labour”, the conference will cover the following topics:
