My real name is Jermaine Lobo, a fourth-year full-time student pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Studies at the University of the Philippines – Open University, and I am part of the 2022-2023 cohort. I have been contributing as an illustrator for The Cursor, UPOU’s official student publication since 2023-2025, and I also served on the promotional committee for UP Graphic—a graphic illustration collaborative at UP Diliman—during the 2023-2024 academic year.
I occasionally accept oil painting portrait commissions in collaboration with my father. I take on graphic design projects, social media advertisements, and digital illustrations primarily during term breaks. However, I am open to accepting projects during the academic term if my workload is manageable and I have the flexibility to accommodate them.
I am classified as an INFJ which is characterized by being introverted, intuitive, feeling, and judging. This profile predisposes me to keenly observe and thoughtfully reflect on others, to prioritize listening over speaking and to approach interactions with an open mind and a commitment to understanding. These qualities are integral to my focus on developing emotional intelligence.
