Established in 2019, the Department of Music offers a postgraduate programme in Performing Arts with specialisations in Hindustani and Carnatic (Karnataka) Music, in both Vocal and Instrumental streams, combining academic rigour with intensive artistic training. The Department is committed to exploring diverse dimensions of classical music pedagogy, enabling students to develop specialised competencies in performance, research, and teaching.
The Department takes pride in its strong placement record, with over 90% of graduates successfully placed in academic, performance, and research-based roles.
