Aljo Mujčić is a full professor at the Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in 2004. Prof. Mujčić published seven textbooks and more than 80 journal and conference research papers.
He participated in more than 10 research projects. He was involved in developing graduate and undergraduate courses in the areas of electronics and telecommunications. His research includes Internet of Things, telemedicine, signal processing, optical access networks.
Elvis Ahmetović is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Faculty of Technology of the University of Tuzla, the President of the Cantonal Council for Science and Technology, and a Corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He was a Fulbright, DAAD, JoinEU SEE Penta, and EM2-STEM scholar and performed research and education at different universities. He participated in the Erasmus+ program mobility for teaching and training and also managed the Erasmus+ INTERBA project at the University of Tuzla. His current research interests in chemical engineering are process synthesis, water and energy integration, and mathematical programming which can be applied in the process industries such as chemical, food, pulp and paper, etc. He is the author or co-author of seven books, three book chapters, and more than 100 papers published in journals and proceedings, and presented at international conferences. He obtained the Federal Awards for Science from the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2021 and 2022. He has been an invited speaker and participant at many international conferences held in Europe, the United States of America, and China, as well as a leader and/or participant in different international research projects.
Nermina Hadžigrahić is a Full Professor - Faculty of Medicine, University of Tuzla and Rector of he University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She authored and co-authored over 50 papers and participated in a number of conferences, nationally and internationally. She has relevant skills in international collaboration, project management, strategic planning, educational leadership and strong understanding of management and implementation of project activities.
Effective networking and decision-making skills and the ability to foster partnerships within and beyond academia. She participated in a number of Tempus, Erasmus and Erasmus+ projects.
Nerdina Mehinović is a Associate Professor– Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. She authored and co-authored 3 books and over 30 scientific and research papers published nationally and internationally. Mentored and supervised several master theses. She has relevant experience in training and implementation of specific activities; Organization of workshops, round tables, conferences; A wide range of general and specific IT knowledge; Communicative; Analyzing of problems and propose of solutions; Consulting in the field of solving a wide range of engineering problems; Good negotiation skills; Ability to find compromise solutions; very familiar with the situation in the secondary and higher technical-engineering education in the region of north-eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina; very good connections with regional SMEs, etc
Amira Šerifović Trbalić was born in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1978. She received her B.Sc. degree from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2002. In 2006, she received the M.Sc. degree in computer science at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla. She finished her doctoral thesis on medical image registration at the University of Tuzla in 2011. Research for the doctoral dissertation was conducted within the framework of the joint research project with the Computer Vision Lab, ETH Zurich, Switzerland. In 2012, she became an Assistant Professor at the University of Tuzla and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2018. Her research interests include image processing and analysis, pattern recognition, computer vision and artificial intelligence. As a principal investigator or as a participant, she was involved in many projects in these areas and published over 40 research papers, books and book chapter.
Belma Mujčić is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla.
Amera Sinanović is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Tuzla. She use software tools for data modeling – Python, Matlab, C++ ,SQL and Java language. Experienced in a Linux and Windows Environment. Work experiences in B&H and abroad.She has 6 years of experience in higher education; 3 years of experience working with international team of engineers in medical device development.
