Veselin Mićanović, full professor at the UoM, and Vice- Rector for Teaching. He received his doctorate from the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Novi Sad in the field of didactic and methodological sciences. His researches are mainly in the field of early childhood development, inclusive education and teaching of mathematics in primary school. He also deals with in-service teacher training and has authored or co-authored several professional training programs, accredited by the Institute of Education of Montenegro. He is engaged in research in the field of mathematics teaching methodology, inclusive education and school practice. He participated at several international scientific conferences and has published more then 80 scientific papers in various scientific journals.
Prof. Dr Irena Orovic holds the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Montenegro. From 2015, she has been the Associate Professor with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro. She finished her Diploma project in ENSIETA Brest, France. Prof. Dr Orović received several awards: Award of the city Podgorica "19. Decembar" (for the best student at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Montenegro) in 2003; Award of Montenegrin Academy of Science and Arts in 2004;Award for the best student of natural and technical sciences at the University of Montenegro 2005; TRIMO Awards Slovenia - Award for the best PhD thesis in 2011; Award for the Best Woman Scientist in Montenegro, Ministry of Science of Montenegro, 2012. Prof. Dr. Irena Orović has published more than 130 papers in the leading scientific papers and among them around 60 in eminent scientific journals (web of science, SCI/SCIE). As a co-author she has published 5 books in Montenegrin language, and two books in English.
Dr Sanja Pekovic is the Vice Rector for internationalization at the University of Montenegro and has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University Paris-EST with the Thesis ‘‘Motives and Effects of Quality and Environmental Standards: Micro-econometric Analyses on French Firms and Employees’’. She is Associate Professor at the University of Montenegro and Associate Researcher at the University Paris-Dauphine. Between 2006 and 2011, she was Researcher at the Center for Labor Studies (Centre d’Eudes de l’Emploi) and Lecturer at the University Paris-EST. In 2006, she obtained a Master’s degree from the Ecole Nationale Des Pontset Chaussées and University of Paris-EST Marne-la-Vallée. Her research interests are within the field of quality and environmental economics, economics of innovation, applied econometrics, and on this topic she has presented studies at national and international scientific congresses, which have been published in international journals. Dr Pekovic have published extensively in leading Economic and Management journals and have given invited seminars and talks at numerous national and international conferences. She have also acted as a Vice-Chair/President of several conference organizing committees, as a referee for several prestigious subject- specific journals and she is active member of several academic networks and societies. She is also involved in several projects that are funded by national and international organizations (e.g. Heric, IPA, COST, etc.). Prof. Dr Sanja Peković published numerous papers in renewed scientific journals.
Dr Srna Sudar is the Head of the Project Office at the University of Montenegro, thus involved in project preparation and implementation within the institution. Professionally, Dr Sudar is experienced leader, sustainability/environmental expert and manager with more than 20 years of hands-on knowledge on driving excellent external relations with governments, private sector, NGOs and international organizations. Dr Sudar possess strong skills in sustainable development and environmental management, in accordance with national and EU and IFI’s/international standards (ESMFs/ESIA). In addition, the office management and leading a driven team by establishing an environment for motivated people to do their best work through trust, openness, empathy, honesty and integrity, to reach the highest performance standards and set goals has been an aspiring motivation and driving force throughout Dr Sudar carrier. Transferable skills that were built with professional experience brings ability for strategic thinking and planning through conceptualizing and establishing strategic initiatives and partnerships to propel the achievement of organization’s goals, and capacity to successfully oversee multiple projects through from conception to completion, and to have an ability to think new ways to improve work, project implementation and business relations.. Dr Sudar has published numerous analyses and papers in the field of environmental protection and linked with sustainable development as well as the Accession to EU process.
