Meet the Teacher

Hi, and welcome to Ms. Scott’s Mathematics Classroom; please note I am also Ms. Hough (name change over break). I hope this finds all of you well and excited to start the 2020-2021 school year! Your first assignment is to email me with your information following the format below. Name and Family Information: Ms. Scott, two grown sons, a great-niece, three nieces, and two great-nephews. My grandmother is 90 years old, Mom 71, Dad 73, a younger sister and brother. I was born and raised in Fort Dodge, Iowa. I have lived in four different states; Iowa, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Michigan; and lived in Germany for 2.5 years.

Education: High School Diploma St. Edmond's High School (Fort Dodge, Iowa) AA Iowa Lakes Community College (Emmetsburg, Iowa), BS Secondary Education with Mathematics Endorsement Wayne State College (Wayne, Nebraska)

Hobbies and interests: Football, cross-stitching, reading, currently reading Me After You, basketball, writing, a huge Harry Potter and Hunger Games fan
