Medical Receptionist or MA at The Skin Docs (Currently Active) 


I am a nurse practitioner and I co-own a dermatology office with my husband Dr. Jonathan Bellew (The Skin Docs Dermatology) and we are currently looking to hire a part time/per diem Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant starting at $13/hr, no previous experience necessary, but Spanish or Korean skills are a plus. If hired, we would train you to master medical receptionist duties first, and then depending on your performance, availability, and clinic staffing needs, you would then be trained in medical assistant duties.

 

Requirements:

·      Able to commit a minimum of 1 year

·      Able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week during fall, spring, and summer semesters

Medical Receptionist duties:

·      Answering phones

·      Scheduling appointments

·      Verifying insurance benefits

·      Checking patients in and out

Medical Assistant duties:

·      Direct patient care

·      Triaging

·      Medical scribing

·      Wound care

·      Assisting with surgical procedures

Benefits:

·      Flexible hours to accommodate a student's academic schedule

·      Performance-based raises

·      Letter of recommendation for graduate school (providing the student performs well during their time of employment)

ProCare Hospice has been in business for 9 years. We are a family owned and operated hospice. We are physician lead and driven hospice with Dr. Clevis Parker CEO/CMO at the helm. ProCare proudly employs the highest number of board certified hospice physicians of all hospices in Las Vegas. We just opened a 14 bed Inpatient Unit for GIP and respite stays. We also have a pediatric division, CareOusel Pediatrics. CareOusel Pediatrics is headed by Dr. Kathleen Gates and Angela Berg, NP, DON. CareOusel Pediatrics provides palliative care for many residing in our community.
