The kick-off meeting of the FoLATE JMM project took place on 4 Dec 2020 in a combined mode, on site and online. The team members from the University of Vlora “Ismail Qemali” were physically present in the meeting, whereas the other team members from the University of Belgrade and the International University of Novi Pazar, Serbia attended the meeting online via the Google Meet app. Team members discussed various issues regarding the implementation of the module. The module will start to be implemented as of March 2021.

The project team met on 19 March 2021 on Google Meet to discuss various technical issues regarding the management of the classes in the online mode. The team members went through all the items that had been laid down in the manual for the online classes that had been prepared and agreed upon earlier on.

The project team met on 5 October 2021 to discuss the FoLATE upcoming activities:

• the December conference;

• the publication of the course book and of the teaching resource pack;

• the next FoLATE modules;

• blogging activities;

• articles to be published. 

On 21 October 2021, the University of Vlora organized the Projects Fair Exhibition on the occasion of Erasmus Days. FoLATE JMM was presented in this fair as a successful project that is currently being implemented at UV. The Rector of the university also highlighted this fact in an interview that was given to the local TVs.

On 20 September 2022, the FoLaTE module was disseminated as part of the activities in the framework of the 35th anniversary of the Erasmus + programme. The activity was organized by the University of Vlora "Ismail Qemali", Albania. For the presentation of the project, please click here.

On the 28 September 2022, the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, University of Vlora "Ismail Qemali", Albania, organized a round table to celebrate the European Day of Languages. On February 3, 2023, the second FoLaTE conference will be organized by the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, University of Vlora "Ismail Qemali", Albania, "The Languages of the Balkans in the integration context". Please, click here for more information.
