Foreign Language Teaching in and for European Contexts

A Jean Monnet Module on European language policies on foreign language teaching

Dissemination is very important for FoLATE, which is why we have adopted a dissemination plan that you will find below. The aim is to keep participants regularly informed, especially during the first year of the project when the modules are introduced.

After the project is over, the modules will continue to be part of the two MA programmes and will continue to be offered to in-service teachers. The coursebook and the teaching resource pack will continue to be used after the project is over and updated, if necessary. This will ensure sustainability of the project results.

During the lifetime of the project, besides the website, other information media will be used, such as social media, TV. Other events will be triggered to disseminate the project’s results. This will also be achieved through the organization of the conferences and publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals. The triggered events and the conferences will aim at reaching out other target groups besides those already involved in the teaching activities of the project. These will include other university professors, teachers from the south of Albania and even wider, policymakers, regional departments on education, which are bodies responsible for all levels of pre-university education in Albania.

Quality of all activities, consultation and supervision will be followed by the module leader, the dean of the faculty and the rector. The National Erasmus + Office will provide external control. A practical quality plan will be adopted, which will outline the activities, standards, tools and processes necessary to achieve quality in the delivery of a project.
