Meeting once in two Months (6 meetings/year)

Chairman - Director/WeBe - for Jaffna

Deputy Director/WeBe - for Kilinochchi

Deputy Director/WeBe- Vavuniya

Deans of the faculties or their representatives

AR/Welfare (Jaffna) / DR (Kilinochchi) / AR/Welfare (Vavuniya)

RDHS/DPDHS of the regional hospitals

Doctor in-Charge of the Health Center

Student Counsellors

Warden & Sub-wardens

2 Representatives from Teachers Unions (M&F)

2 Representatives from Administrative Union (M&F)

2 Representatives from Employees Unions (M&F)

2 Representatives from each Student Union (M&F)

2 Representatives each from other Staff/student registered Unions (M&F) as decided by regional and Management committee’s

Terms of Reference of the WeBe Regional Committee

● The Rector will chair the Meeting at Vavuniya, The nominee of the Vice Chancellor or Director/WeBe will chair the Meeting at Jaffna & Deputy Director/WeBe (Kilinochchi) will chair the meeting at Kilinochchi

● DR (Kilinochchi) and DR (Vavuniya) will be the Secretaries of the respective WeBe Regional Committees

● Identifies issues in relation to Psychosocial issues and well being of students and staff from all the disciplines/faculties

● Proposes plans and executes the decisions taken at the WeBe Management Committee

● Provides opportunity to students and staff to bring their problems/issues related with their well being in the University life

● Provides essential support to the students and staff to develop their psycho-social well being

● Suggest and develop the facilities, resources, functions and activities of the Webe centre

● Should report the summary of the monthly Meetings to IQAU and Management Committee
