WeBe Management Committee

The WeBe Management Committee will focus on all the issues raised up at the University level and takes decision where ever necessary and recommends feasible suggestions to the Senate and Council for their approval.

Terms of Reference of the WeBe Management Committee

Develop a strategic management plan, Action plan and annual budget proposals of the subsequent year of the WeBe Centres and will get them approved by the Council

● Implement the proposed regular activities of the centers on staff and student Counseling

● Have self-monitoring mechanism to report the progress of the activities of the centre

● Strengthen the Psychosocial Counseling personals in the University Community by providing essential training

● Meet quarterly and as an when necessary

● Vice-Chancellor or his representative will chair the WeBe Management Committee meeting

● AR/Welfare will serve as the Secretary of the WeBe Centre and will circulate the minutes of the meeting within two weeks after every meeting.

The Third Meeting of the management Committee of WeBe Centre held on 07.02.2020 at 8.45 am at the Board Room of the University of Jaffna. The Director of Jaffna Region of Sri Lanka Sumithrayo - an non profit organization was invited and Mrs Balakrishnan (Director of Jaffna Region) explained about their activities and the role they could play in assisting to improve the WeBe Centre

The First Meeting of the Management Committee of WeBe Centre was held on 30.03.2018 at 11.00 am at the Board Room of the University of Jaffna. The Secretary of JMFOA Australia, Dr. N.Rajeshkanna was also present. It has been decided to startup the Centre at the first floor of the Student Complex (Former Exam Branch), University Main Premises.
