When can I access the virtual platform?
Our iLRN and G.I.CON Support team will email you a URL to download the iLRN Virtual Space and join the G.I.CON discord channel
Ho do I join G.I.CON ?
The academic Liaison for each University that participates in the conference is responsible to arrange the registrations with the G.I.CON organisers. In case you haven't received such communication either liaise with the academic or contact markos mentzelopoulos : mentzem@westminster.ac.uk . You will need to include your University affiliation, Name and ID from one of the Institutions that participating in this year conference.
What do I do if I haven't received my email notification with my download links?
Occasionally, spam filters can hijack genuine emails from us, so please check there (*spam folder). Perhaps you used a personal email account to register in the event? Please check that too.
If you are sure you subscribed on this event through your university portal, and the event is about to start, but the iLRN Virtual Space link notification still hasn’t shown up in your inbox, then please email markos@immersivelrn.org with your details and we’ll figure out what’s up.
Ho do I set up my Discord profile?
An WELCOME email will be sent few hours after the initial download link email with Discord Guide Details for :

Again check your *spam folder.
Which time zone do the events take place in?
Please note: talks and events are taken place on current UK time. Check the main website for details, all times given are in UK Time/BST/GMT+1. For instance, a talk broadcast at 10am UK will take place live at 12 noon if you’re in Helsinki.
How do I get technical support?

Please note, this is a global event, so you may be on a different time zone to the relevant team member. Although we will endeavour to get back to you as quickly as possible, technical support might not be available solidly through 24 hours. Most of our staff are in Europe, so please allow a few hours for a reply, especially if you are contacting us from far away. We will definitely help you as fast as we can, but even we have to sleep sometimes.
System Requirements for iLRN Virtual Space
Virbela runs on Windows and Mac computers. (At this time, the iLRN Virtual Campus does not support mobile devices.) The minimum and recommended requirements are listed below:
Minimum Windows Requirements
Windows 7 SP1+
CPU: 1.8GHz Intel Core i5 or 2GHz AMD Phenom II
Memory: 4GB
Graphics: Graphics device with DX10 (Shader model 4.0)
Storage: 2.5GB
Minimum Mac Requirements
Mac OS X 10.11
CPU: 2GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 4GB
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Storage: 2.5GB
Installing on Windows
After downloading the virtual campus, double click the executable file and follow the instructions. Depending on your security settings, your computer may generate a popup that says the app was blocked from opening. Click “Run
Installing on Mac-OS X
After downloading the virtual campus, double click the dmg file and then drag the VirBELA iLRN Virtual Campus icon into the Applications folder. When opening VirBELA the application for the first time, the system will ask you if you are sure you want to open it. Click “Open”.
