Minnesota Masonic Charities Scholarships: DUE February 15. 5 categories of scholarship portfolios available, many with more than one scholarship. Please look at the website for more information! (Opens January 1, 2023)

MTA Foundation Scholarship DUE February 16, 2024 (to local BevComm). $2,000 scholarships for those going into IT OR subscribe to BevComm. Applications sent in an email and paper copies available in the Counseling office. 

J. Scott Sanders MD Scholarship: To be eligible for the J. Scott Sanders MD Memorial Scholarship, high school seniors must reside within the Mankato Clinic service area, which includes Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter, Lake Crystal, Mapleton and nearby communities; and must plan to obtain a post-secondary education following high school graduation. Wells VFW Post #1778 Scholarship (School Scholarship) DUE March 1. Available in the Counseling Office. Everyone can apply!

South Central College Scholarships- DUE March 4

USC COMMON SCHOLARSHIP- Multiple school-based scholarships on one application, including the Lion's Athletic Scholarship. This scholarship form was emailed to Seniors February 3, 2024- it should be typed and printed out. 2 recommendation forms are also required. DUE March 3

UHD Foundation LOCAL Healthcare Scholarship DUE March 15. This scholarship is open to anyone looking a pursuing a career in the wide-ranging healthcare area including physician, nurse, physical therapist, social worker, chiropractor, speech, lab assistants and many more! Applications are online and the information was emailed to students on February 3. 

Stuart and Patricia Collins LOCAL Scholarship: Due March 15 to Ms. Klemek. This is an electronic application that was emailed to Seniors on February 13. 2-3 single year scholarships of $3,500 will be handed out and 1 multi-year $2,500/yr scholarship will be awarded to USC students. Students need a 3.0 GPA. Check your email for application- EMAILED on FEBRUARY 13, 2024

Nexus Ag Youth Scholarship (previously Northern Country Coop): DUE March 15. Paper copies available in Ms. Klemek's office

Compeer Scholarship- DUE March 15. This is an online application. (Opens January 1 of the year it is due)

Mayo Clinic Health Care Scholarship: DUE (mailed and received by) March 15, 2024. Going into any area of healthcare. Applications available in the counseling office. Will also be online but paper copies in the counseling office

MCHS (Naeve) Auxiliary Scholarship: DUE (mailed and received by) March 15, 2024. Going into any area of healthcare. Applications available in the counseling office. Also online. 

Hertz Ag Scholarship: The Hertz Farm Management, Inc sponsors a local scholarship for USC. The application form was emailed to Seniors on January 9, 2024. Application/Essay due to Ms. Klemek by March 25, 2024.

Riverland Community College Foundation Scholarship- DUE March 31

Faribault County Historical Society Local Scholarship DUE April. A $1,000 scholarship is available for a USC student who submits one of the essays that was emailed to students on December 14. 

Freeborn County Pork Producers: DUE April 1- open to anyone whose parent is a pork producer in Freeborn County or if you live in Freeborn County and are pursuing a career in agricultural or business that can be related to the pork industry. Application available in the counseling office. 

Naeve Alumni Nursing Scholarship: DUE (mailed and received by) April 1. For students who are going into Nursing. Applications available in the counseling office. (emailed on January 17, 2024)

Wells Library Foundation Scholarship. DUE April 1. Applicants should have a current and active Wells Public Library card, have a 3.0 GPA, submit a 300 word essay and complete a minimum of 10 hours volunteering at the library. Applications are available in the Counseling Office.

Coyle Scholarship (School Scholarship)- DUE April 1 to Ms. Klemek. Available in the Counseling Office. For students who are interested in education or science-related majors.

Jean and Charles Kraus Scholarship (School Scholarship)- DUE April 1 to Ms. Klemek. Available in the Counseling Office. For students who live in the Kiester/Walters area and have financial need.

Jordan Mutschler Memorial Scholarship DUE April 1. LOCAL scholarship for a student who are in interested in pursuing farming or an agriculture degree. Available in the Counseling Office.

Wells American Legion Post #210 Scholarship (School Scholarship) DUE April 1. Available in the Counseling Office. Everyone can apply, especially if going into the military!

Farmers Mutual (Member of the Bank): Open to children whose parents have an account. DUE April 1. Application found here. 

Masonic Lodge Scholarship- Area Scholarship. DUE April 1. Available in the Counseling Office. Everyone can apply!

USC-ESP Scholarship. DUE April 6. The USC ESP union graciously sponsors a scholarship for our graduates. All students who are pursuing a post-secondary education should apply! Available in the Counseling Office. 

Faribault County Corn Growers Scholarship (School Scholarship)- DUE April 15 to Ms. Klemek. Available in the Counseling Office. For 1 male and 1 female who will major in an ag-related area, 3.0 GPA and involved with FFA as a preference. 

Winfield United Careers in Agriculture Scholarship: DUE April 17, 2024 (opens in March 2024). This is a scholarship for students pursuing ag (both in-coming and current college students). Apply online. 

Freeborn County Farm Bureau Foundation: DUE April 28. Student who lives in Freeborn County and pursuing a degree in an agricultural related field. Applications are available in the Counseling Office. 

Minnesota Society of Professional Engineers: Seniors who want to pursue an Engineering degree. DUE April 29. Applications available in the counseling office. 

Wells Jaycee's Outstanding Young Rebel Scholarship- Due April 28! $750 scholarship. The information needed for the essay was sent in an email to students. Students must write an essay about why they deserve the scholarship based on involvement, leadership, social responsibility, individualism and determination. This was emailed to all seniors on February 16, 2023.

Arcadian Bank Scholarship- DUE April 30. Application is online by clicking the link, or paper applications are in the Counseling office. This is open to any student whose family has an account with Arcadian Bank.

Farmers Trust & Savings Bank: Due May 1. One scholarship to a USC Student! See the information online!
