USC Counseling
Welcome to the USC Counseling page! School Counseling encompasses the areas of personal/social, college/career and academics.
I am Kayt Klemek- this is my 8th year as the USC 7-12 school counselor and my 13th year as a counselor. I have a BA from the University of St. Thomas in public relations and community health education. I have two master's degrees: a MA in Educational Psychology-Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology and a MPH in Public Health-Maternal and Children's Health- both from the University of Minnesota (Go Gophers!). I continue to have a love for learning and developing as counselor so I have additional training and certificates in Gifted and Talented Education and in College Admissions Counseling. I completed the American School Counseling Association's Specialist Training in Career Development over this past summer.
