Parkside families,
Winter weather is headed our way! To help families plan ahead in the event of inclement winter weather, I wanted to share again the 22-23 plans for E-Learning Days at the middle school.
Our E-learning schedule will allow students to learn in the morning while staying warm & safe at home, enjoy lunch, then if weather allows, get out there and enjoy!
Teachers will provide synchronous & asynchronous learning opportunities through Google Classroom then host office hours for students who need extra help at the conclusion of the E-Learning Day.
Please continue to check work and grades in Infinite Campus. The district has provided a guide for parents in accessing and understanding grades in Infinite Campus .

Club Updates
Mrs. Jensen was approached by a student wanting to have more of a voice in the school newsletter each month. We partnered together to design a way that students who participate in clubs and organizations can share what they do each month. The student designed a Google Form to share with our staff club sponsors. Students are then able to complete the form for others to learn more about what they do! Yearbooks 22-23
Parkside Pythons! Our Yearbook Production Club is working hard to make us an amazing yearbook this year. We are excited to be back in school for a full-year and have a lot of awesome things going on at PJ that we will be capturing in this year's yearbook. Josten's sends parents emails regularly with a link to buy a yearbook. Be on the look out for those and make sure to get your 2022- 2023 yearbook ordered so you can enjoy all the memories of this unique year.

Athletics Update

We will still be using 8to18 for all registrations, and posts will still be made on Facebook and Infinite Campus when needed in addition to morning announcements. The goal is to improve communication and provide a place for students and families to get the info they need with a more user-friendly experience on our end, and yours!
