Eagle Nation is a living, breathing community of staff, students and parents. It is a place that strives to be a joyful, safe, and supportive community which promotes in-depth academic learning and enhances physical, emotional, and social well-being.
In Eagle Nation, we promote each student's personal excellence by establishing trusting relationships among students, staff, and families, building community partnerships that support and embrace innovation and fostering a sense of pride in our school.

Teaming and Departments
In middle school, grade levels are divided into two teams. The "A" and "B" label of each team is nothing more than a way to identify each group of students. We promise it is not a hierarchical ordering of students! Placement on a team is a result of various factors.
Each team consists of specific content-area teachers: Language Arts (Writing), Literature and Composition (Reading), Math, Science, and Social Studies. During the day, students rotate between these team teachers.
The middle school schedule also has students rotating to Exploratory classes - which are semester-based courses. The courses include: Computer Skills, Digital Media, Family and Consumer Science (FACS), Gateway to Technology (GTT), and Visual Art. More information about these courses can be found here.
For students enrolled in the music program, they will continue their musical journey at Eagle Nation! Our music courses include:

In middle school, students have PE every day, which also includes Health class for six weeks. Eagle Nation is fortunate to have a National "Blue Ribbon" awarded PE department which invests in creative, innovative, and engaging activities and opportunities for students to "Live Fit!"
