NCHS does not endorse any of the above third-party websites. They are provided here as a starting point/resource for students/families. You do not need to sign up for any of these; however, if you do, we recommend choosing only one to prevent overlapping scholarships.

SCHOLARSHIP SEARCH TIPS
Look for institutional scholarships first. (Scour your colleges' websites, and if you don't see any on their sites, feel free to call their financial aid office.)
THINK local. (Local businesses, churches, Rotary Clubs, Kiwanis Clubs, Lions Clubs, Chamber of Commerce, Parents' Employment , Civic organizations, PTO.)
No scholarship it TOO small. (They all add up!)
Apply for at least 5 times as many scholarships as you hope to receive. ("Don't put all your eggs in one basket.")
Be aware. (The money you earn through some private scholarships (those NOT funded by the government or college) may not actually increase your overall aid. Colleges will either allow you to use the scholarships you earn to decrease loans or work study or they will decrease your grants which will be of no benefit to you.)
