On December 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM, the Piccolo Teatro della Città (Via Ciccaglione 29, Catania) hosted a performance entitled “Il sogno di un clown. Gianni Salvo e il suo teatro con le ali”.

Through a series of performances, Catania-born actor and director Gianni Salvo spoke about the authors and texts that, over the years, have accompanied his dream of being a clown who could touch the earth with one wing and reach toward the sky with the other.

The event was organized as part of the PRIN 2022 PNRR project "Archives of Floating Islands. Mapping Third Theatre in Puglia and Sicily" (scientific coordinator for the University of Catania: Professor Simona Scattina).

 Il 10 dicembre 2025 alle ore 17 presso il Piccolo Teatro della Città (Via Ciccaglione 29, Catania) si è tenuto il racconto performativo dal titolo: “Il sogno di un clown. Gianni Salvo e il suo teatro con le ali”.

L’attore e regista catanese Gianni Salvo, attraverso una serie di atti performativi, ha raccontato di autori e testi che negli anni hanno accompagnato il suo sogno di essere un clown che con un'ala fosse in grado di sfiorare la terra e con l’altra di protendersi verso il cielo.

L'evento è stato organizzato all'interno del progetto PRIN 2022 PNRR "Archives of Floating Islands. Mapping Third Theatre in Puglia and Sicily” (responsabile scientifica, per l’Ateneo di Catania, la Prof.ssa Simona Scattina).
