Venue and Social Dinner

The conference will take place 

• June 16-18, 2025: at the University of Salerno, Fisciano (SA) in Building F3, room P1. A buffet lunch will be offered at the conference venue.

• June 19, 2025: at Salerno town hall, Sala del Gonfalone, Palazzo di Città, via Roma, Salerno city center.

The social dinner on Wednesday 18th June 2025 and the final lunch on Thursday 19th June 2025 will be held at the restaurant "Portovecchio" in Via Molo Manfredi, 38, 84121 Salerno SA click here for GPS location.

Working Groups

Working groups will be held at the University of Salerno, Fisciano (SA) as follows:

• June 16, 16:00-17:00  in Building F3, rooms: P1, P12, Sac 18 and Sac 19

• June 18, 15:30-17:00  in Building F3, rooms: P1, P5, P12, Sac 18 and Sac 19

Here you can find the location of each room:

• P1, first basement floor;

• P5, ground floor;

• P12 (computer room), first floor;

• Sac 18, second floor;

• Sac 19, second floor.

Room P12 is a computer lab. Access to both the room and the computers is permitted during working groups sessions and lunch breaks.

Shuttle and Bus Information

We have arranged a daily shuttle service (June 16-18, 2025) between Salerno and the University (round trip). Please note that on June 17, there will be no return shuttle from the University to Salerno, as most conference participants will be attending the excursion (details below).

The shuttle will pick you up every day from Monday to Wednesday from "Piazza della Concordia" in Salerno city center (you will recognise the shuttle by the "leonetti bus" logo, on the side/front of the vehicle). 

The shuttle will depart from Salerno at 8:00 on Monday and at 8:15 on Tuesday and Wednesday (please be sure to arrive 10 minutes before the departure time because the bus is not allowed to park there). 

On Monday and Wednesday, the shuttle will leave the campus at 17:00 to take you back to Salerno city center. 

You can also get to the University on your own by taking the public bus.

You can buy the bus tickets from tobacco shops, kiosks and some bars, from the ticket office next to the bus stop at the University or from the app "Unico Campania" that you can download for Google Play Store at this link.

Excursion

On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, there will be an excursion to visit Pompeii archaeological park. A shuttle will pick you up from the conference venue at the University of Salerno in Fisciano at about 14:00, and will bring you back straight to Salerno city center after the end of the excursion.

Please note the following details about the excursion.

• The visit at the archaeological park will last approximately 2 hours.

• We recommend not bringing your laptops to the university on Tuesday morning, otherwise, you may have to carry your laptop with you for the entire excursion.

• The entire visit will be outdoors, and since hot weather is expected, we suggest bringing a hat/umbrella, a water bottle and wearing comfortable shoes, as you will be doing quite a bit of walking.
