The Master level course in "Innovative Materials with Laboratory" aims to develop following fundamental skills:

• The course aims to provide an overview of novel materials recently developed and investigated for applications in mechanics and Aerospace engineering.

• The knowledge of innovative materials is strictly connected to the possibility and capability of designing new products.

• Learnt techniques such as Additive Manufacturing, Thermal Analysis, XRD, SEM, Materials Characterisation.

The PhD level course in "CFD with OpenFOAM" aims to develop following fundamental skills:

• Computational fluid dynamics: fundamentals, turbulence modeling, incompressible, compressible and multiphase flows.

• Object oriented programming techniques applied for CFD model development

• Pre and post-processing techiques: case setup (initialization, mesh generation), analysis of results and validation with experimental data.

The Space Propulsion Summer School (SPSS) was held on September 12 and 14, 2022. A joint initiative between ArianeGroup and the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) at the University of Luxembourg. The online certificate program provides a high-quality introduction to space propulsion, to learn about numerous technical and strategic propulsion-related fields 

The PhD Summer School Frontier Technologies for “Space 2.0” Communications, organized by Università degli Studi di Trento in collaboration with the Università di Genova and Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata" under the patronage of Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society (AESS) and the Agenzia Spaziale Italiana (ASI), aims at offering an overview of most advanced technologies concerning a renewed vision of Space connectivity for the next decades.

  • An intensive interdisciplinary course of 5 days covering the main (legal and technological) issues connected to the uses of space-based applications, in the context of EU legal framework, has been financed by the EU, EACEA, through the Erasmus + Programme, Jean Monnet Module, within the project Space4U: EU law, policies, actions & technology.
