Brief Biography :
Sasi Kiran Palateerdham holds a Ph.D. in Energy and Environment from the School of Aerospace Engineering/Department of Astronautical, Electrical, and Energy Engineering at Sapienza University of Rome. As the first in his family to study abroad, crossing oceans in pursuit of education, his journey reflects a deep thirst for knowledge, a drive to upskill continuously, and a passion for solving real-world problems through science and technology.
His research primarily focuses on aerospace propulsion and combustion. He is currently engaged in supersonic combustion modeling for scramjet engines and conducting experimental work on hybrid rocket engines. His broader interests encompass solid fuel formulations, low-thrust propulsion, additive manufacturing, satellite systems engineering, space mission design, applied thermodynamics, energy systems, fluid mechanics, and high-energy materials.
Driven by a desire to explore, innovate, and contribute meaningfully, Sasi is dedicated to using his research expertise and interdisciplinary skills to make a positive societal impact. As a scientist and engineer with a strong foundation in aerospace and mechanical domains, he is committed to advancing sustainable technological development.
