Brief Biography :
Sasi Kiran Palateerdham is a PhD scholar in the School of Aerospace Engineering / Department of Astronautical, Electrical and Energy Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome. He is the first person in his family to cross oceans for study abroad. His thirst for knowledge, a keen interest in upgrading skills, the ability to solve current problems and a passion for Science and Technology gave him the courage to pursue a career in research involving an interdisciplinary approach.
His main research interests are in aerospace propulsion and combustion. Currently, he is investigating the modelling and simulation of hypersonic combustion for his doctoral thesis. Furthermore, he is interested in the research of Hybrid Rocket Propulsion, Fuel grain formulations, Additive Manufacturing, Satellite systems engineering, Space missions and systems, Applied thermodynamics, Energy engineering, Fluid mechanics, and High Energy Materials.
With an all desire to discover, grow and make an impact, He is dedicated to make positive contribution to the society using his research experience, skills, and results-oriented positive attitude. Being a Scientist/Engineer with a strong understanding of the aerospace and mechanical industries, he is committed to contributing to sustainable technological development.
