Responsible of the Laboratory of Power Systems and of the Laboratory of Distribution and Utilization and Building Automation in the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Rome.
His research activities cover power systems design, planning, safety, protection and coordination, lighting systems, building automation and energy savings.
Author of more than 250 publications in national and international journals and conferences, and of one patent regarding electrical safety protection.
Vice President of the Technical Commette CT 315 "Energy efficiency" of the CEI Italian Electrical Standards Committee.
Member of the Technical Commettee CT 205 “BUS systems for buildings”
He is Chair of the Working Group about Interior Lighting Systems.
He is member of the European CENELEC Joint Working Group CEN/CLC JWG9 Energy measurement plan for organizations.
He is active in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers IEEE (Student Member since 1998, Member since 2002, Senior Member since 2011).
He is member of Industry Application Society IAS, Vice Chair of IAS Italy Section.
Senior member of the IEEE International Electrical and Electronic Enginnesrs.
