NOTICE
My absence on October 30th - replacement meeting
Dear all, due to institutional duties of mine on 30th October in the morning (M. Sc. thesis discussion and graduation ceremonies for Mechanical Engineering students), I will not be able to meet students according to the scheduled timetable.
Thus, once checked that you have a free slot on Mondays, we will regain the three hours block on Monday 3rd November from 13:00 to 16:00 Italian time in the meeting room of the Structural and Geotechnical Engineering department (third floor of the main building in via Eudossiana, left entrance after the staircase, wait for me at the glass door after the first glass door).
All the best,
28th October 2025

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE
Teaching meetings on Tuesdays
Dear all, due to restoration works, the Tuesday meetings cannot be held in room 20 (as previously scheduled). Contrarily to what was previously foreseen and discussed on Tuesday 14th October, the Tuesday meetings will maintain the same scheduled time (9 to 11 Italian time) and will take place in room 40 (via delle Sette Sale, side entrance); Thursday meetings keep the same room and schedule.
In order to let me arrive comfortably from the railway station, I ask the students to come at 9:15 instead of 9:00 on Tuesdays - we'll be able to finish at about 10:45 or so. Further information, not only on this subject, may be asked directly to me by means of official e-mail.
To help students who will not be able to be present in person at the beginning of the semester, the lectures of the first weeks will be kept in a hybrid mode, in person and at the Meet link https://meet.google.com/qui-ukkd-fyh. Please take note.
All the best,
15th October 2025

NOTICE
Exams programming
In order to meet the needs of the students, I ask those who wish to take the exam in Continuum Mechanics to drop me a line by e-mail, in order to program the meeting for the discussion constituting the exam (we all agreed to keep an informal partially oral, partially written exam test). All the best for the new civil year.
