Watercolor

The artwork below was created by Intro to Watercolor students (AVA 261) working primarily from their home or dorm studios in Fall 2020. For their final projects, each student developed a personal watercolor series. Topics ranged from the 2020 election and the Covid-19 pandemic, to mental health and scientific illustration. Here is a sample of paintings from some of those projects.

Painting 2

Painting 2 was taught fully remote, via Zoom. The paintings in this section were created by students working from their home or dorm studios in Winter 2021. These canvases range from 16 x 20 inches to 36 x 48 inches.

Painting 1

This Spring term we returned to painting in the Feigenbaum Studios! The majority of this work by Painting 1 students was created in our painting studio this Spring, 2021. All works are oil on canvas.
