The 2021 Annual
Visual Arts Steinmetz

Student Art Exhibition

COVID Edition (Part 2)

The Visual Arts Department is delighted to present our 2021 Steinmetz Symposium Student Art Exhibition, an annual highlight of student work selected by our Studio Art faculty. The breadth and diversity of this exhibition showcases the range of courses students are actively engaging in as well as those who push the boundaries between different materials. This selection of work includes students in various class years, majors and minors in our program, as well as students taking visual art courses as an elective. In 2021 students are making art from both outside the studio, with remote instruction from faculty, but about half of our classes are in person this year. Those working remotely are using materials shipped to them from campus, or found in their homes. We are proud of our student's achievements, and hope that you will enjoy seeing all their hard work!

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak,
Union College has mandated that the campus remain closed to the public.

As a result, we will be hosting the 2021 exhibition virtually.

Although we cannot access the gallery right now we are still making art.
You can't stop the art!
