Simone Bianco is currently Associate Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca. His teaching and research interests include computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization algorithms applied in multimodal, and multimedia applications. He is on Stanford University’s World Ranking Scientists List for his achievements in Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing.
Marco Buzzelli currently serves as assistant professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communication at the University of Milano-Bicocca.. He is actively engaged in conducting cutting-edge research in the field of signal/image/video processing and understanding, using machine learning techniques. He is particularly passionate about color imaging.
Gianluigi Ciocca is Associate Professor at the University of Milano-Bicocca. He has published more than 100 papers in international journals and conferences on topics related to image processing understanding and retrieval, video analysis, pattern recognition, and machine learning algorithms. His algorithms for image retrieval and management have been exploited in commercial products of leading companies.
Flavio Piccoli is currently Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics, Systems and Communications at University of Milano-Bicocca. His research interests focus on deep learning, computer vision, remote sensing, precision agricolture, anomaly detection, image generation, signal processing, audio processing and industrial quality inspection.
Raimondo Schettini is a full professor at the University of Milano Bicocca (Italy). He is head of the Imaging and Vision Lab. He has been a team leader in many research projects and published more than 300 refereed papers and several patents about image and video analysis, retrieval, and classification. He is a fellow of the International Association of Pattern Recognition. He has been general/program Chair of several international workshops and conferences, and associate /guest editor for many international journals.
