O FIDA - Festival Internacional de Dança, Vídeo & Tecnologia - é um evento artístico-científico organizado pelo Departamento de Artes Corporais (DACO)  da Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), sob a direção do Prof. Dr. Diogo Angeli, docente e pesquisador da instituição. Criado em 2024, o festival tem como principal objetivo promover espaços de discussão, reflexão, formação e circulação artística no campo da dança mediada pela tecnologia, estimulando a troca de experiências práticas e teóricas entre seus participantes. 

Em sua edição inaugural, o FIDA realizou diversas ações artísticas e formativas, na quais se destacou a I Mostra de Videodanças, que contou com a participação de escolas públicas e comunidades externas à universidade.

Em 2025, segundo ano de existência do festival, as ações extensionistas e artístico-pedagógicas se fortaleceram, com a expansão de atividades e parcerias, focando-se na integração entre arte, tecnologia e educação. Contou com a II Mostra Internacional de Videodança no Brasil e nos EUA, em parceria com a University of Colorado Springs e muitas outras atividades durante todo o ano. 

Neste ano de 2026, será realizada a 3ª edição do Festival e alguns dos objetivos são: 

• Realização das mostras de videodança; 

• Realização de Workshops, Cursos, palestras e Mostras artísticas;

• Ações extensionistas junto aos alunos das escolas da região e comunidades externas; 

• Parceria do FIDA com a Universidade do Chile no segundo semestre de 2026.

O FIDA consolida-se como um espaço inovador e inclusivo, promovendo o diálogo entre universidade e comunidade e estimulando novas formas de criar, pensar e vivenciar a dança no contexto tecnológico contemporâneo.

The FIDA - International Festival of Dance, Video & Technology - is an artistic-scientific event organized by the Department of Performing Arts (DACO) at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), under the direction of Prof. Dr. Diogo Angeli, a faculty member and researcher at the institution. Created in 2024, the festival's primary goal is to foster spaces for discussion, reflection, education, and artistic exchange in the field of dance mediated by technology, encouraging the sharing of practical and theoretical experiences among its participants.

In its inaugural edition, FIDA carried out various artistic and educational activities, including the 1st Videodance Showcase, which featured the participation of public schools and communities outside the university.

In 2025, the festival’s second year, its extension and artistic-pedagogical actions were strengthened, with the expansion of activities and partnerships, focusing on the integration of art, technology, and education. It included the 2nd International Videodance Showcase in Brazil and the United States, in partnership with the University of Colorado Springs, along with many other activities throughout the year. 

In 2026, the 3rd edition of the Festival will take place, and some of its objectives are: 

• Hosting videodance showcases; 

• Hosting workshops, courses, lectures, and artistic showcases; 

• Outreach initiatives with students from regional schools and external communities; 

• Partnership between FIDA and the University of Chile in the second half of 2026. 

FIDA establishes itself as an innovative and inclusive platform, promoting dialogue between the university and the community while encouraging new ways of creating, thinking, and experiencing dance in the contemporary technological context.
